My husband and I create beautiful mockups, specifically tailored to the needs of surface pattern designers, under the name ‘Amenohi’. We chose the name ‘Amenohi’, which means ‘rainy day’ in Japanese, as we are the ‘Rain’ family and we live in Japan. We both also love a nice cosy day in the studio when its pouring outside and are partial to going for a splash in the puddles on a rainy walk.

Our purpose with Amenohi is to create mockups that are useful and desirable that present our patterns beautifully. If there is anything you’d like to see made as a mockup, please get in touch. We want to serve the surface pattern design community the best we can!
